Children Little Museum
42 Bussorah Street
As you journey through this unconventional museum, you would be hard pressed not to feel as if you were whisked through a time machine. Owner Alan Tan developed the idea of showcasing Singapore’s colourful history through children.
Find curious memorabilia such school report cards of the 60’s, sports day photos, kerosene stove and antique toys from the 1990s and earlier.
Check out the miniature 1960s peephole cinema! At a time when cinema theatres were not so common, peephole cameras were very much in demand. Kids would pay a small fee (five cents – 20 cents) to plant their faces at one of the peepholes for the movie.
